Athletics 12U (Flint) Walk It Off Against Gamers Academy Luesse 12U to Win the Silver GMB Championship Game!

Athletics 12U (Flint) took Sunday's game in dramatic fashion, with an 8-7 walk-off victory over Gamers Academy Luesse 12U. Athletics 12U (Flint) were down 7-6 in the bottom of the sixth inning when Matthew F doubled, scoring two runs.

Raymond W collected three hits in three at bats in the win. Raymond doubled in the second inning, singled in the fourth inning, and singled in the sixth inning.

Gamers Academy Luesse 12U got on the board in the top of the first inning after Ried V doubled, and Graham H homered to center field, each scoring two runs.

Linus F appeared in relief for Athletics 12U (Flint).

Athletics 12U (Flint) amassed 11 hits in the game. Parker H and Parker B each collected multiple hits for Athletics 12U (Flint). Carter J led Athletics 12U (Flint) with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, accumulating six walks for the game. Carter and Raymond each stole multiple bases for Athletics 12U (Flint). Athletics 12U (Flint) stole 10 bases in the game.

Ried provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Gamers Academy Luesse 12U with three runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-2 on the day.
